"Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - The Dilbert Principle
The past month has been very interesting, trying and fun. Site design can be difficult when trying to get everything you want to display in a manner that does not overwhelm your viewer. While researching and working this month I have found that having a successful website is not done by having great design, but by having content that is relevant for your target audience. Content that is engaging and user friendly that gives them what they need and it’s easy to find. With a combination of relevant information, good navigation, good use of hierarchy and design and ease of use, your website can propel your business to a new level.

Here are the wire frames I made for our BoxPark Sushi web site:
I started to think about the “pull” part of the interactive marketing and found a cool video of an interactive display Toyota put up at a car show. The video shows how this “pull” is bringing potential customers to see what Toyota has to offer with it’s vehicles. Check it out.
1. In the first dynamic mood board, I wanted to keep the classy feel to my board. Keeping it clean and squared up help me align that feeling with the music and movement. Showing night life, desserts, drinks and poeple also help with the classy night life theme. Using variations of pink and purple help clients and customers to have that sense of romance, mystery, feeling of good judgement, peace and classiness (feeling of royalty).

2. Mood board 2, is meant to be more fun, appealing more to women (Target Audience) and the love of pictures, photo albums, and being with firends having a good time. The music being a little faster, keeps the excitement going and share that upbeat spirit of the mood board.

3. Mood Board three is a mixture of both. Combinging the soothing music in the background that is not to fast or not to slow and not overpowering the crowd. It a goo dpace to keep conversations going and not drive anybody out of the cafe.
Wow working with video has truly frustrated me these last few weeks. I have learned that one, I need to really spend some time and learn more about my tools on hand (After Effect and Premier). Two, there is a lot more to video than I have ever thought (transitions, key frames, positions, camera views and etc.) and three, kudos to all those who make this look REAL easy!
